Folding Stool

As a personal project, I decided to make a folding stool. This was my second woodworking project. 

I love woodwork that also have mechanical elements. Apparently, this design has been around for awhile. I downloaded the SketchUp file of this stool from a YouTuber. My stool is made out of pine, and assembled with nails, glue, and dowels.

Unfortunately, the dowels don't stay in place, and the folding action is not smooth. Next time I'll use nuts and bolts.
