Plate Holder

I wanted to buy a bamboo plate holder from IKEA, but they're always out of stock. So I decided to make one myself.

I designed the plate holder in SketchUp. I used 1/2" square dowels from Home Depot. It is held together with lap joints and glue. 

In the photos, the wood is not finished; but later, I'll put some linseed oil on it.
